Son of Charles Cook Snr.
Served an apprenticeship with Hall Russell including work in the drawing office; thenwent to sea as engineer returning to Aberdeen working at GNSR's loco. Work at Kittybrewster. Started work at Barry Henry & Co about 1892-1893. In 1907 he was appointed Joint Manager with Robert Jackson but he was the main force in the company. He died about 10am on the 9th July 1921 following two operations associated with his appendicitis.
