Rob Roy

The brig Rob Roy was built in 1866. William Knox, an Aberdeen merchant, was its managing owner and major shareholder. The brig sailed from Aberdeen for 10 years, under three different captains. It sailed regularly to the Baltic and to north Russian ports such as Archangel. On one of these voyages, in 1876, Rob Roy was wrecked in the White Sea.
