Notes: To change a ship from trawling to a tug would have been no easy task to undertake as there would involve a lot of alterations to the superstructure and all the rivets has to be cut out by hammer and chisel. No welding or burning in those days.
Notes: Compound engines with 17" and 34" cylinders, 24" stroke. Boiler 11'0" diameter, 10'0" length, 120 lb. pressure (Builder's List in the Lloyd's Library of the Aberdeen Maritime Museum)
