11/1923: sold to Victor Schemeil, Alexandria.
1925: Egyptian Maritime Enterprise.
07/1927: sold to Mehanna Kouri Haddad, registered in Alexandria.

11/1911: As the BAHREIN it put on the pilgrim route between India, Aden and Jeddah.
04/1926: it was laid up on the Thames.

Notes: Inchanga is a village in Kwa Zulu-Natal, South Africa, approximately halfway between Durban and Pietermaritzburg.

Alliot Verdun Roe, the first Englishman to make a powered flight, was an aircraft pioneer who registered the first ever aircraft manufacturing company. From 1899 to 1902 be was Fifth Engineer on the Inchanga.

Engine details: Steam by screw, inverted, surface condensing, triple expansion engine, 24” x 39½” x 64½” with 42” stroke, 1931 i.h.p., 282 n.h.p., by HR. 13¾ knots on trials.
