General History:
16/10/1914: The BEN RINNES landed 58 survivors from the crew of HMS HAWKE, which was sunk by a submarine in the North Sea. Captain John Cormack of BEN RINNES stated that he took the survivors off a Norwegian steamer. They were landed at Aberdeen.
