08/1914: Serving in the Royal Navy based Egypt and served at Gallipoli.
11/03/1915: Rescued the 11 crew of the minesweeper MANX HERO, sunk by a swept mine, while under fire from shore batteries in the Dardanelles.
04/04/1915: HUMPHRIES, Abraham (20) Stoker 1st Class, RN (SS/112133), died of wounds in the Dardanelles (Naval-History lists illness). Son of Alfred and Jane Humphries, 23 Fllring Street, Corporation Road, Newport. Native of Bradley, Wolverhampton.
07/02/1927: Arrives at Grimsby with considerable weather damage.
11/02/1954: Ran ashore at Dunnet Head. All crew saved by seine net boat OUR LASSIE and landed at Scrabster. Salvage failed and vessel sank.

Continuous liner tailshaft.
Engine details: Steam by screw, inverted, surface condensing, triple expansion engine, 12” x 20” x 34” with 24” stroke, 408 i.h.p., 76 r.h.p. by Hall, Russell.
Boiler: number 1 S.B.; heating area (ft^2) 1355; diameter 12' 9"; length 10' 3"; pressure (p.s.i.) 180; furnaces 3 plain welded 3’ 2½” dia, Sturrock’s bridges
Propeller: Single screw, 8’ 4” diameter, solid cast iron, 4-bladed.
