About MeThis organic shaped hollow brooch with silver and aluminium enamelled surface and green enamel on the interior demonstrates Iwata's continuing preoccupation with organic forms and their relationship with the surrounding space and air that they occupy. Here he has reverted back to his original training as a jeweller, experimenting with different materials. His use of enamel as a method for creating texture rather than for mere decoration, results in a piece that is both visually and texturally pleasing. More About Me
