About MeBruce McLean was born in Glasgow in 1944. He studied at Glasgow School of Art and St Martin's School of Art. He is head of graduate painting at the Slade School of Art in London. This work formed part of 'Spaghetti alle Vongole Twice', a suite of works which, together with a glass wall and a pair of doors, were commissioned from the artist in 1994 for the staff restaurant of Credit Suisse (now Credit Suisse First Boston).
