About MeBag and overalls were given to all offshore employees as standard. This bag was used by an offshore worker prior to 1991, when Occidental left the North sea oil and gas fields. Occidental had been the operators of the Piper Alpha oil and gas platform at the time of the accident which destroyed the platform and killed 167 men.
