About MePottery, tumbler shaped mug with a transfer print portrait of Edward VIII, to mark his coronation in 1937. The coronation of course never took place as Edward abdicated so that he could marry Mrs W. Simpson. Edward's brother George, the father of our current Queen, was crowned king in his place.
