The front cover has a dark illustration. Framed by tropical vegetation, there is a large tower crane on the right hand side of the image, with many electrical lights and moving across the scene with a bushel of sugar cane. To the left is a office or other building. Under the crane are several motorised and horse drawn vehicles and indiviuals working to load the material. The name "Henderson" and the title are printed at the top of the image.

The back cover has an image of sugar cane.

The foreword gives a detailed background to the contemporary sugar cane industry in Jamaica, particularly the use of cranes for the movement of raw cane from the field to the factory. this is followed by illustration, general arrangement diagrams and some photographs relating to the Henderson fixed tower cranes powered be diesel, electricity and steam. At the back of the catalogue are two pages relating to Henderson overhead travelling cranes. The final pages show the stages in the manufacture of tower cranes and a world map showing the main sugar cane areas where Henderson's plant is used.
