10/11/1822:
The HIBERNIA, Lamb, sailed from Riga 13th ult. [October] for London, and having sprang a leak, and become quite unmanageable, was driven shore the western point Domesness [Kolka, Latvia], and was abandoned. The master and crew returned to Riga about 17th ult. and intended proceed with assitance, and endeavour to get their vessel off.
(Bell's Weekly Messenger)
Lloyd's underwriters does not update HIBERNIA's condition after 1822 which might have implied that the master had failed to get her off, but Lloyd's shipowners shows a good repair in 1825 (LR shipowners 1826 (H573)) but it does not then appear in shipowners 1827.
