About MeThis Chopin measure is Initialled "I.B" on the top of the handle. The handle has been repaired at the bottom.

A Chopin was a Scottish measure of liquid capacity, standardised in 1661. It was equal to two mutchkins or 0.848 litres today. English measures were imposed in Scotland in 1824.
