About MeThis mutchkin measure at one time belonged to an innkeeper called Alexander Shand of Fintray, Kinellar.

A Mutchkin was a Scottish measure of liquid capacity, standardised in 1661. It was equal to four Gills or 0.212 litres today. English measures were imposed in Scotland in 1824.
