About MeCylindrical wooden truncheon or baton painted red/gold at both ends, followed by a narrow band of blue and a white central section bearing a version of the Bon Accord arms (a shield with three white towers, with two leaf fronds at the base). An inscription is above the image but is unclear, ending in 1848. Underneath the image are two intitials (possibly VC).
