Black plastic camera with metal fittings. The body of the camera is made from black plastic with multi-coloured elements. It is rectangular in shape, wide at the back with the front 3/4 significantly narrower. The back panel is plain black plastic with a gold transferred label with inscription "TO TAKE, 8 SINGLE PICTURES / CLOSE COVER BLADE OVER No. 1 LENS. / MAKE EXPOSURES ON EVERY NUMBER / FROM 1 TO 8 / TO TAKE 4 PAIRS STEREO PICTURES / OPEN COVER BLADE OVER No. 1 LENS. / MAKE EXPOSURES ONLY ON / ODD NUMBERS (1, 3, 5 AND 7) / USE No. 27 ROLL FILM". The panel is secured but two metal clips and there is a circular red window slightly off centre.

On the top of the camera are a view finder and a dial for winding the film on, both made from black plastic.

The front of the camera has two circular apertures and a smaller one in the centre, between and slightly above the other two. A metal panel is fixed to the plastic with the inscription "Coronet / "3-D" / [sliding switch] / PRESET [enclosed within an arrow] / MADE IN ENGLAND". There is a small metal dial in the top corner of the proper right side, and a sprung metal pin on the proper right side of the body.

The packaging consists of a grey and yellow printed cardboard box with inscriptions in black and red, within a plain brown cardboard box stamped "S3849"

The front of the printed box has an illustration of a man in shirt and tie using the camera with the inscription "THE / "THREE-D" / CAMERA / SEE THE TWO LENSES / THEY ACT AS YOUR EYES / CAPTURE THE THIRD DIMENSION". Both sides of the box are inscribed "THE / "three-D" / by / Coronet". The back has an abstract illustration of the camera with the inscription "TWO CAMERAS IN ONE / NEW AND THRILLING / MADE IN ENGLAND PRINTED IN ENGLAND". One end is inscribed "THE LATEST / DEVELOPMENT IN / PHOTOGRAPHY / "THREE-D" / CAMERA" And the other end says "CAPTURE / DISTANCE / AND SPACE" with an illustration of the stereoscopic viewer.

The instructions are printed on 2 sheets of paper, folded and stapled once in the centre. The cover reads "Instructions for / using the / CORONET / 3-D / CAMERA / R72/353 Printed in England."
