About MeCard designed by Ian Hamilton Finlay and printed by the Wild Hawthorn Press. It is addressed to Joyce Laing and was evidently posted in 1987, shortly after its creation. The card depicts an old black and white photograph of soldiers in armed combat, along with the following caption: "Saint-Just Vigilantes celebrate a direct hit on elements of the Headley and Meulenkamp Division of The National Trust." On the reverse is a stamp that reads "WIM THE WIMP AND HOORAY HEADLEY ARE DAME JENNIFERS SHAME" in red ink. This card is part of the 1987 Wild Hawthorn Weapons Series.

This work is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem print and multiple as it was made.
