About MeCard co-designed by Ian Hamilton Finlay and Grahame Jones, printed on the outside of a piece of folded card (like a greetings card) by the Wild Hawthorn Press. It features a mottled green and beige pattern and the words of a poem. Inserted within is a loose photocopied sheet, folded three times, entitled "SECOND FRONT NOW", urging its readers to correspond with their MPs, the SAC and the Strathclyde Region on behalf of Ian Hamilton Finlay. This insert relates to the Little Spartan War.This work is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem print and multiple as it was made.
