About MePin badge bearing the acronyms of the title. Attributed to Ian Hamilton Finlay and probably worn by the Saint-Just Vigilantes or friends of the artist for protest purposes. During periods of disagreement between Ian Hamilton Finlay, The Arts Council Of Great Britain and the Scottish Arts Council, it was common for the latter to be likened to the K.G.B. or equivalent perceivably corrupt establishments. On the reverse is an address sticker for the Wild Hawthorn Press.

This work is part of an archive that belonged to Joyce Laing, OBE. The artist, Ian Hamilton Finlay, was a personal friend and sent her an example of each new poem, print and multiple as it was made.
