About MeThis orange silk sleeveband was unpicked from a Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911) Chinese robe.

It is embroidered with geometric woven patterns and embroidered blossoms and butterflies. Branches and feelers are couched with gold metal threads.

The unpicked edges show the original bright colour of the fabric.
