About MeThis yellow silk sleeveband was probably unpicked from a Qing Dynasty (1644 - 1911) Chinese robe.
It depicts two women in a garden surrounded by various motifs including clouds, rocks, a willow tree, pavilion, bridge and flowers.
It is embroidered mostly in Peking knot outlined by couched metal threads. The women's faces and hands are embroidered in satin stitch.
