About MeMarcus Coates is well known for his shamanistic problem solving videos. Coates, bedecked in deer hide and rabbit skins, uses shamanic rituals to descend to the animal-spirit world where he communes with animals and birds whilst seeking insights into problems in the human living world.

'Radio Shaman' features Coates being interviewed on Stavanger Radio (Norway), where he has been 'working' on their prostitute problem. We see Coates wearing skins as he struts around emitting guttural sounds communicating with the lower animal world. Watching him perform one is torn between stifled laughter and a child-like sense of wonder. It is perhaps precisely the tension provided by this ambiguity that makes his work so interesting.
