About MeExhibition review printed in The Morning Post on 29 March 1922, related to McBey's exhibition of eighty-four trial proofs and impressions being displayed at Messrs. Colnaghi's Galleries, 144-6 New Bond Street.

Early etchings, such as "Point Law" (see ABDAG002937) and "Moray House, Edinburgh" (see ABDAG005545) are mentioned, along with works from 1914 onwards, such as "Dawn: The Camel Patrol Setting Out" (see ABDAG002933) and "Sea and Rain" (see ABDAG001795).

McBey's specific etching techniques, such as his "one-proof etchings" are also praised and discussed.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
