About MeCopy of a typewritten letter from Harold J. L. Wright, representative of Messrs. Obach & Co., to Malcolm. C. Salaman, dated 1 June 1929. Mr. Salaman had written the introduction to a recently published book on James McBey's etchings by Martin Hardie. Mr. Wright was writing to query why this introduction had neglected to mention that McBey's etchings were first shown in London by Messrs. Obach & Co.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper article.
