About MeCutting from an unidentified newspaper with an image of "Venice", on of three paintings by Reginald Eves selected for display by the Royal Academy. The caption also reveals that Eves created the works by painting over photographed outlines.

The cutting is kept within a portfolio of articles and cuttings that belonged to James McBey, which he kept because they were of interest.

This object is part of an archive that belonged to Marguerite McBey. As a result of her generosity, Aberdeen Art Gallery holds the largest archive of James McBey's work, including prints, drawings, sketchbooks, oil paintings and memorabilia such as this newspaper cutting.
