About MeLarge drill bits with diamond or metal 'teeth' are strong enough to cut through rocks under the seabed to reach the oil and gas reservoirs. This drill bit was donated to Aberdeen Maritime Museum collections in the early 1980s. It had been kept as an iconic souvenir by an Aberdeen man who worked in the industry.
