About MeA founder member of the Camden Town Group, Walter Bayes frequented the Fitzroy Street gatherings and formed a close friendship with Sickert. However, although he exhibited with them, Bayes differed from the other Camden Town artists in his choice of subjects and technique. He had little interest in urban scenes or thick impasto paint and as here, preferred rural scenes.More About Me
