About MeRowallan Castle, Ayrshire was the home of Thomas Corbett, 2nd Baron Rowallan. Lord Rowallan became Chief Scout between 1945 and 1959 and is perhaps best known for this role. He was a close friend of James McBey and until the sale of its contents in 1989 Rowallan Castle contained one of the largest private collections of McBey's work.Leonard Rosoman
