Shareholders at the start of the ledger are John McLaren (granite merchant) and Alice Wilson Harvey or McLaren, Alexander Bruce (Manager) and John Walker (Foreman). In 1956 the executors of John Walker transfer his shares to Mrs Rose Christina Mulholland or Walker. These are later transferred to John McLaren in 1963, as are the entirety of Alexander Bruce's shares. In 1964, 8000 shares were transferred to Stewart & Co. Ltd.
