About MeAlexander Ogston founded A. Ogston and Sons, Aberdeen around 1802 (later became Ogston and Tennant with Tennants of Glasgow). Alexander married Helen Milne, of Fyvie (see ABDMS095669.2), and together they had five children – Alexander, George, who died in Australia; Francis, M.D. professor of medical jurisprudence, and dean of the faculty of medicine in Aberdeen University (also known as Sir Alexander Ogston); Sarah and Helen.
