About MeRound rosette with concentric circles of green, yellow and red ribbon around a central paper card inscribed "Aberdeen Malayalee Association-SCIO". Mounted on a brown card backing with an adhesive label detailing the maker: M.S. MANIAM & CO., 1 & 2 Malayaperumal Street (Near Olympic) Chennai 600 001.The funeral cortege for HM Queen Elizabeth II passed through Aberdeen by road on Sunday 11 September 2022. Travelling by road from Balmoral and along Deeside, the cortege came into the city centre before turning down Holburn Street and passing Duthie Park on Great Southern Road and crossing the George VI bridge and out of the city.
This item was left in tribute for the Queen outside Marischal College, around a flag lowered to half-mast for the full period of national mourning and has been collected as a representative example.
