Jug rim and handle from excavations at Queen Street in 1973. There is a deep indentation where the handle joins the body. The incised cross on the top of the handle was done after firing. It is fabric 37 which is defined as Low Countries Grey Ware in 'Excavations in the Medieval Burgh of Aberdeen 1973-81'. The sherd is unstratified and bears the code BX given by the excavating team.
