About MeLucia Gašparidesová is a fashion designer who founded Aberdeen based 'Prolong'. Under this brand, she repurposes unwanted garments and recyclables in to one-of-a-kind accessories. The aim is to prevent mass produced, unwanted items, going in to landfill. She strives to help solve the problem of climate change. Her products are stylish, timeless, high quality, ethical and sustainable.

The outer shell of this bag is made of up-cycled black denim jeans which were sourced from a local charity shop, in Aberdeen. The rubber stripes are up-cycled out of inner bike tubes. The lining is made of patterned cotton and was donated by somebody who lives in the city.
