About MeLucia Gašparidesová is a fashion designer who founded Aberdeen based 'Prolong'. Under this brand, she repurposes unwanted garments and recyclables in to one-of-a-kind accessories. The aim is to prevent mass produced, unwanted items, going in to landfill. She strives to help solve the problem of climate change. Her products are stylish, timeless, high quality, ethical and sustainable. The digitally printed pattern on this bag was taken from a painting Lucia made during the pandemic in 2020. The painting was thread painted using acrylic paint. The lining is up-cycled waterproof jacket that was purchased at the local charity shop in Aberdeen. The fabrics were donated by a resident of Aberdeen.
