About MeBill Fleming served as Coxwain aboard the Aberdeen Harbour pilot cutter for 20 years during 1950’s and 1960’s.

This interview provides a direct insight to the workings of the harbour from someone who was performing the operations on a daily basis. It details the various incidents associated with the pilot boat and navigating into the channel, and lifesaving incidents.
