About MeKeith Henderson - who lived to the great age of 99 - had a long and varied career spanning most decades of the 20th century. He was a painter in oils and watercolours, muralist, draughtsman, author and illustrator. Henderson claimed he was mostly self-taught (apart from occasional days at The Slade School of Art and a Paris academy) as, he wrote "I liked art school as little as I liked my previous schooling". This charming wildlife watercolour demonstrates his crisp, clean style and sparkles with vibrant colour.
