About MeFlared majolica bowl with sylised pink lily flowers. The bowl was decorated in the 1970s at her Nairn Pottery she favoured bright Mediterranean inspired colours and bold flowers.

Macintyre originally taught and composed music. She married Gordon MacIntyre in 1959 and in 1961 they founded the Nairn Pottery. Both their early pottery training was at the Chelsea Pottery - a studio specialising in majolica, a colourful glazed earthenware. In 1972 Muriel studied porcelain at Gray's, adding this to her repertoire.
