About MeMiss B. Durie of Aberdeen followed the fashion for painting pottery blanks in her own way. Rather than using plain undecorated pieces she chose to embellish wares by established factories that were decorated already, often over-painting in gilt. This bowl was made and first decorated at Wedgwood.

More About Me
Miss Durie had a bowl of elegant shape. Not content with this fact she added her own touch! Only the best gold decoration for this Aberdonian!
