About MeLustre vase with green and bronze lustre panel incorporating leaping deer, dogs, heroic figures, owls and eagles. The deer are freely hand-painted and the close tones of the green ground and lustre design make the figures translucent and fleeting depending on how the light falls on the surface.

It was produced around 1920 by Royal Lancastrian, Pilkingtons Tile and Pottery Company, well known for their lustreware decorated with mythological and heraldic themes.
