About MeThis is a study for 'Christ and the Woman of Samaria' a painting in the collections of Birmingham Art Gallery. The study alongside another study of Christ for the same work (abdag 3227) varies little from the finished composition. Both studies are also executed in pencil on primed paper, an identical approach to the figure studies for 'David in the Wilderness' (abdag 3228 + 3229).
