About MeThe cup and saucer are transfer printed with what was originally known as the Blue Lily pattern. After being selected by Queen Charlotte during a visit to the factory in 1788, it was renamed the Royal Lily Pattern. It is still produced at Worcester under that name. Caudle was a warm gruel made from wine or ale, with eggs, bread or oatmeal, sugar and spices and fed to invalids.
