About MeThis plan is for a proposed railway station on Market Street. It was never built because the extreme gradient of the station made it too expensive.

This is the proposed north front of station building (whose east face was to be on market street). A neo-classical structure with large central arch flanked by 6 on either side. The elevation is supplemented with figures at entrance and horse drawn carriages.
