About MePale printed cotton organdie dress with large puffed sleeves and bias cut skirt with frills.

Worn by donor's grandmother, Mrs Sybil Hamilton of Skene to garden parties. An example of the sort of romantic dresses worn by Hollywood stars, this dress harks back to the famous 'Letty Lynton' dress worn by Joan Crawford in 1932. Dated to 1930-1940.
