About MeAmerican artist Andy Warhol was one of the most experimental artists of the 1960s. His paintings of Campbell's soup cans have become icons of the Pop Art movement.

He famously worked in series, painting repeating versions of each subject. His thirty-two paintings of cans of Campbell's soup were in a flat style that mimicked mass advertising. The paintings were repeated as a silkscreen prints, bringing his art even closer to the billboard which had been its source of inspiration. This screen-print of Scotch Broth is from his series of prints.
