About MeOne of a series of Polaroid images taken by Mr Lemmon in the 1970's and early 1980's.
The image was taken in the early hours of a summer morning in the North Sea. It shows the semi submersible Venture One as it was named between 1975 and 1980. It was involved in a number of incidents including the death of a diver in 1977. It latterly was operated by Noble Drilling under the name Lorris Bezigard and operated mainly in Gulf of Mexico where it was involved in a serious blowout..
