About MeBorn Leamington Spa 1915. Prisoner of War 1941-1945 when he was encouraged to draw by artist Adrian Heath. Studied art in St Ives 1946-47, and Camberwell School of Art, London, 1947-50, then moved to St Ives. Lived in Leeds 1954-57 and subsequently taught in Coventry and Reading. Bought a studio in Newlyn, Cornwall, in 1974, and has lived there permanently since 1981. Solo exhibitions include Leicester Galleries, London, 1952; Arts Council touring exhibitions 1976; Mayor Gallery, London, 1994.
