About MeMartin Naylor was born at Morley, near Leeds. He studied at Leeds College of Art from 1965-66 and the Royal College of Art from 1967-70. He was Britain's representative at the 1977 Sao Paulo Biennal, Brazil and in 1985 was artist in residence at Altos de Chavon, La Romana, Dominican Republic . He currently lives in Argentina. His numerous awards include Arts Council Awards in 1971 and 1979, a 1975 Gulbenkian Foundation Visual Arts Award, a prize at the 1978 John Moores Liverpool Exhibition and a Henry Moore Foundation Award in 1985.
