About MeEarthenware dessert bowl decorated in 'Enchantment' pattern of decal applied white daisies and green leaves on a pearl grey glazed ground. Alfred Meakin was the brother of James and George Meakin who ran the successful J & G Meakin company. Like them, Alfred manufactured good quality, but ordinary, domestic tableware for the mass home market and for export.
