This is one of a pair of dresses. The complimentary dress is in the same style and has matching decoration, but is made from red velveteen as opposed to green.

Worn as a stage outfit for performances by Anne Logan (neé Brand) and her sister, Laura, who regularly sang together on 'The White Heather Club'. It dates to the late ninteen-sixties or early ninteen-seventies.
