About MeKilrenny was built at Anstruther in 1897 and registered at Kirkcaldy. it was given an Aberdeen registry in 1900, when the Inver Steam Line Fishing Co Ltd bought the vessel. Kilrenny fished from Aberdeen for the next ten years and may have gone to the herring as well as the great line.
